This swivel castor is designed for supermarket shopping trolleys, carts and light industrial equipment where steady handling and quiet movement matter. It uses a thermoplastic rubber (TPR) wheel for a softer roll that helps reduce noise and vibration on hard floors, along with a thread guard to limit hair and string build-up around the axle. The swivel frame supports easier steering in tight aisles and busy work areas, making it a practical choice for equipment that gets pushed, pulled and turned all day.
The bolt-mount stem uses an M12 × 40mm threaded fixing with a nyloc patch to help resist loosening under regular movement. The wheel runs on ball bearings for smoother rolling and more consistent performance under load. Key dimensions include a 125mm wheel diameter, 32mm wheel width and an overall castor height of 160mm, with a maximum load rating of 110kg per castor when fitted correctly to suitable equipment. The zinc plated frame helps provide everyday corrosion resistance for indoor environments such as retail, hospitality back-of-house, medical and laboratory spaces, and general light-duty trolleys.
