Description
Description
This spring base and top plate insert is designed to suit 350L tubs where you want the load kept at a safer, more workable height during packing and unpacking. A coil spring mechanism lowers the platform as weight is added and then raises it back up as items are removed, so the working level stays more consistent. It’s a practical add-on for reducing bending and reaching when handling heavier stock, particularly in busy pick/pack, stores, kitchens, and service areas.
The assembly uses a 860 × 580 × 10mm top plate with a base footprint of 720 × 389mm to sit securely inside the tub. With a raised height of 603mm and a compressed height of 173mm, it delivers a large working travel to suit variable loads, and the spring tension is rated to 50kg for controlled movement under weight. Built with a mild steel base and a virgin HDPE deck surface, it’s suited to day-to-day handling, helping teams work faster while minimising back strain and reducing the risk of manual handling injuries.
